It specializes in truly personalized and unique cakes for birthdays , weddings, parties and events, as well as macarons, the typical French biscuit made with almonds.
Everything is full of color and handcrafted with excellent quality products.
In addition, it creates all kinds of special and creative sweets for your day, including pavlovas, brownies, cupcakes and much more!

ABOUT ME
My name is Sofia Coutinho, I am 39 years old, I am a mother of 2 children, and since 2009 Beja has been my home for professional reasons.
I have loved cooking since I was a child and I made my first cake when I was 11 years old.
I am self-taught, and over the years I have been creating new recipes, acquiring practice and perfecting my technique. All of my products are made by me using the best quality ingredients, so I do not use previously prepared dough or fillings.
In 2014, I created the Da Cozinha da Sofia page with the aim of sharing what I love to do the most, which are sweets. With family, friends and work colleagues as official tasters, requests to make some sweets for them started to come in and in 2017, what was supposed to be a simple sharing of recipes became a business.
In order to innovate and evolve, I have taken some courses/workshops with the best in their field, learning new techniques, responding to the requests that I receive.
Now, after all these years and because we are always in constant evolution, the time has come for change and Da Cozinha da Sofia has given way to Cakery by Sofia Coutinho.
The name changes, but the dedication, professionalism, quality and essence remain.
